On April 23 and 24, 2025, LPP-ERM/KMS hosted the 50th General Assembly of EUROfusion at the Club Prince Albert in Brussels. The EUROfusion consortium funds research among its members (in 26 EU member states) on the basis of the “European roadmap to fusion energy” as a joint program under Euratom Horizon Europe. Almost all the directors of the consortium members were present in-person in Brussels, as were the representatives of the European Commission and F4E, Fusion For Energy, making the event remarkable and highly effective. One of the points discussed was the preparation of the research program for 2026-2027, the two-year extension of the FP9 framework program.
